What weekend?

People are finding it hard in lock down to distinguish between weekdays and weekends. It all merges into one. As an entertainer I have never had the luxury of a weekend. From my first job as a holiday camp comedian, through years on the road working in clubs, to time spent as television warm up artist, I have always worked weekends. Even now, as an actor, I rarely have a Friday or Saturday night at home. And if a job needs doing - you don't put it off until Monday morning. Forget the 9 - 5, be ready to work at any time.
